Sr DevOps Engineer (AWS)

About the Role

Out client, an important software development company is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining efficient, scalable, and secure infrastructure.

IMPORTANT: This role is only available in Costa Rica and Colombia, with payroll hiring modality. 

Key Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support seamless software delivery.
• Create and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python and Bash.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security by monitoring and troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software lifecycle.
• Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools and practices to continuously improve infrastructure and processes.

Required Skills & Experience.

The candidate must be well-versed in Amazon Web Services various service offerings. Specifically, but not limited to:

• Elastic Container Service (ECS).
• CloudFormation.
• Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3).
• AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Simple Notification Service (SNS).
• Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
• Secrets Manager.
• Security Token Service (STS).

• Additionally, experience with the following technologies is desired:
  

• Aurora / RDS Postgres (database and query tuning).
• Database Migration Service (DMS).
• Systems Manager / Parameter Store (SSM).
• Terraform.
• Spinnaker.
• Kubernetes.
• Docker.
• HashiCorp Vault.
