Position Overview

The ECSA Systems Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, administering and troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Epic client systems software and the physical infrastructure used to support these systems. 

Essential Duties

• Specify, Operate, and Maintain platforms related to Windows and Linux Operating Systems (Server and Desktop platforms).
• Ensures production infrastructure meets all service level commitments.
• Responsible for Active Directory Enterprise Administration, Active Directory process automation.
• Participate and/or lead in complex customer and internal projects.
• Proactively and reactively look for solutions to prevent complex problems from occurring across teams/technologies. 
• Develop and Maintain systems documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Participation in on-call rotation with other Systems Staff. 
• Other duties as assigned.
• Occasional travel may be required.

• Healthcare IT experience is required
• Epic certification in ECSA 101, 103, 105 (BLOB/DCA Printing, Care Everywhere, Hyperspace, Hyperspace web) is required. 
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Citrix. 
• Experience with cloud hosted services such as AWS and Azure.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in System Administration.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Windows Active Directory administration.
• Experience in implementation and administration of infrastructure services like SQL, IIS, DNS, DHCP, GPO and CIFS. 
• Automated systems deployment is a plus.
• Familiarity with SolarWinds Orion monitoring platform is a plus.
• Ability to travel at least once a year is required.

Work Location and Travel Requirements

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.

Base Pay Overview

The typical offer range for this role is minimum to midpoint ($106,170), with the midpoint representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors directly relevant to this position, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, responsibility, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
