Position Summary
Vena is looking for an LMS Administrator to join our Training and Enablement team. This role will primarily oversee and maintain our learning management system in order to facilitate a seamless, best in class learning experience for Vena Customers, Partners, Internal teams and the wider finance community. A successful candidate would demonstrate technical proficiency within managing a learning system, including understanding and analysis of content design and distribution. The ideal candidate would also demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, acting as a liaison between the LMS and its multiple stakeholders. As the landscape and delivery of learning continues to evolve rapidly, success in this role would also require a passion to seek and understand changes in technology, such as how AI-driven tools can personalize and enhance learner responsiveness. With the recent shift to hybrid workplaces, an important part of this role would also be to ensure learning is accessible to all user types along with exploring ways to engage different learners with reward systems and gamification. This role would report to the Director, Customer Training & Enablement providing insight and recommendations on optimizing and maximizing the effectiveness of our learning programs.
What you will do
● Configure and maintain ‘Vena Academy’ (LMS) aligning with multiple stakeholders and content creators to build a centralized learning experience across the Vena ecosystem.
● Own the distribution and maintenance of all programs within Training & Enablement, partnering cross-functionally
● Partner with the Director, Training and Enablement, to build, maintain and document LMS governance, performing regular audits to ensure standards are met across all content types.
● Collaborate with Instructional Designers to oversee the organization of course content, distribution and QA within Vena Academy.
● Collaborate with Instructional Designers to update and improve the existing UI/UX within Vena Academy, developing customized spaces that align against all learning journeys.
● Administrate user management within the LMS, ensuring users are added and maintained against the correct permissions and resources.
● Partner with Customer Operations to drive influence based on learning insights, patterns and trends that may impact our overall organizational performance.
● Setup and maintain Vena’s certification processes, tracking progress and ensuring certificates are issued upon completion.
● Collaborate with Manager, Customer Training to ensure NASBA standards are met for all eligible courses including routine audits to ensure compliance.
● Stay up to date with learning trends including enhancements and improvements to the LMS along with advancements in AI and other technologies.
● Collaborate with Marketing to setup and maintain gamification elements within Vena Academy including support of program frameworks and distribution of badges and rewards.
● All other duties as assigned.
Does this sound like you?
● Minimum 3+ years of experience in maintaining and operating a learning management system and its related technologies.
● High technical proficiency within operating learning management systems including setup and design. (Instructional design experience a bonus)
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple stakeholder levels including customer facing communication.
● Highly adaptable to changing trends and tools within learning design, quickly assessing and implementing as needed.
● High proficiency in problem solving and developing solutions to quickly solve business critical needs.
● Ability to drive data analysis and identify trends to make necessary changes and improvements to processes.
● Detail-Orientated, ensuring the operation and function of the LMS is evaluated at a consistently high level.
