Technology Team Lead

This is a remote position.

• Technology Leadership: Define and drive the AI and cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
  
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing AI engineering team, fostering innovation and technical excellence.
  
• AI-Driven Product Development: Oversee the development of AI solutions, including AI Agents, LLM-based applications, and vector database-driven search.
  
• Cloud & AI Infrastructure: Architect and optimize AWS-based AI/ML infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  
• AI Model Deployment & MLOps: Drive AI model deployment strategies, optimizing for real-time inference and production readiness.
  
• Agile & DevOps: Implement Agile best practices using JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD workflows for AI and cloud applications.
  
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and cross-functional teams to align technical roadmaps with business priorities.
  
• Security & Compliance: Advocate DevSecOps best practices, integrating security into AI model training and deployment.
  
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of AI advancements, emerging AWS services, and evolving best practices to drive innovation.
  

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership, with a strong focus on AI, cloud, and large-scale architectures.
  
• Deep expertise in Python for AI/ML model development, data engineering, and automation.
  
• Strong AWS experience, including SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Step Functions, and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).
  
• Proven experience in AI Agents (LangChain, AutoGPT, OpenAI APIs) and generative AI applications (text-to-video, speech synthesis).
  
• Hands-on experience with vector search, LLM fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  
• Expertise in Agile processes, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership.
  
• Experience implementing CI/CD for AI workflows, using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Docker.
  
• Proficiency in data engineering for AI applications, including real-time streaming (Kafka, Kinesis), SQL/NoSQL databases.
  
• Ability to work in a UK time zone and lead distributed teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in building AI-powered automation tools (AI-driven chatbots, recommendation engines, AI-powered search).
  
• Familiarity with MLOps, model monitoring, and AI observability best practices.
  
• Exposure to reinforcement learning, AI model optimization, and GPU acceleration techniques.
  
• Experience with compliance and governance for AI solutions (data privacy, security best practices).
