In this role, you will combine strong leadership with technical expertise to guide a group (multiple teams) of talented software engineers. You will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our product roadmap, aligning it with business objectives, and ensuring operational excellence.
This position is ideal for a leader who thrives in a hands-on capacity, working closely with their team to design, review, and optimize technical solutions while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. If you're passionate about balancing strategic oversight with technical problem-solving, this is the opportunity for you.

Your tasks:
  • Team Leadership and Development: recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent; provide mentorship, career development, and performance feedback to team members; foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the team
  • Roadmap Planning and Delivery: oversee the planning, prioritization, and execution of our product roadmaps; ensure on-time delivery of high-quality software that meets business requirements
  • Technical Oversight: review architectural decisions and code to maintain technical excellence; align team efforts with organizational technical standards and best practices
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project goals and requirements; facilitate effective communication across teams to ensure alignment and progress
  • Resource Management: allocate tasks and resources efficiently to maximize productivity; balance team workload while addressing constraints and priorities
  • Process Improvement: implement and refine development processes to improve team efficiency and product quality; encourage the adoption of modern tools and methodologies (e.g., CI/CD, agile practices)
  • Risk and Issue Management: identify and mitigate project risks and technical challenges proactively; ensure timely resolution of blockers and critical issues to maintain project momentum

Your skillset:
Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, mathematics or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 or more years of experience in the software industry
  • A minimum of seven years in managerial roles with increasing leadership responsibilities for engineering teams in a SaaS environment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile, SaaS environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure SaaS solutions
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure) and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker)
  • Proficiency of the .Net and/or Java stack is a plus
Knowledge and skills:
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate objectives, inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment with the business strategy
  • In-depth knowledge of software engineering best practices, including software development lifecycle methodologies, quality management, and security
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Substantial experience in leading cross-functional, multi-skilled teams
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools for project management and collaboration (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement within engineering teams
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering high-impact projects on time and within budget
