Job Description for Catalog Assistant


Scope:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm Ft. Lauderdale, FL Time with a 30-minute unpaid break

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update the extensive product catalog using the client’s custom-built catalog management system
  • Accurately input and verify product details, including specifications, pricing, shipping weights, and installation methods
  • Process complex product information from various sources, including PDF price lists
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all product listings
  • Collaborate with team members using communication tools like Slack and Zoom
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new products and system enhancements
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of catalog management processes

Requirements:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and data entry skills
  • Strong English language proficiency, both written and verbal
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems
  • Experience with or willingness to use communication tools like Slack and Zoom
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing time effectively
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce operations (preferred)
  • Experience with product catalogs or inventory management systems (a plus)
