Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Site Lead to join our team. This role offers the potential to work across various delivery projects within our expanding portfolio. The Senior Site Lead, working closely with Business Analysts, Project Coordinators, etc., will play a key role in leading project activations, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project outcomes. With a focus on flexibility and growth, this position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of delivery projects (e.g., site deployments/activations, CRM initiatives). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with clinics, hospital staff, physicians, and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring the seamless implementation of projects.

  • Responsible for deploying digital health solutions across BC, including eReferrals, eOrders, etc.
  • Conduct product demonstrations for sites during the onboarding process
  • Responsible for end-to-end onboarding of sites, from kick-off to go-live, including facilitation of EMR integration, and training for physicians and clinical staff
  • Manages relationships and communications with clinical stakeholders (e.g., scheduling meetings, following up on onboarding activities, etc.)
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of applicable EMR systems, and stay updated on new EMR systems as they are integrated with Ocean
  • Stay updated on new EMR systems integrated with Ocean, with training provided
  • Resolves any risks or issues that arise during site activation, escalating when necessary
  • Ensures smooth implementation of site activation processes
  • Tracks and monitors site-specific tasks and deliverables
  • Captures lessons learned from site deployments
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation:
    -        Update and manage project plans for each site activation
    -        Track deployment progress and changes in the deployment tracker
    -        Log risks, issues, and action items in the RAID log, ensuring accountability for assigned action items
    -        Contribute to the development and refinement of internal processes as needed
  • Supports engagement efforts (e.g., weekly webinars, conferences, etc.) as required
  • Participates in Specialty Working Groups (SWGs) for new specialty referral form development
  • Provides adhoc support for other program-level initiatives to boost awareness and adoption, as required
  • Perform project management processes in accordance with PMO standards
  • Other duties as required








Requirements
  • A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or project management, including training and/or experience in leading and coordinating all aspects of a project:
  • Mandatory requirements (candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements to be considered):
  • Strong knowledge of OceanMD
  • Must have completed Ocean Training Academy eReferral courses prior to applying and provide proof of completion (e.g., screenshot of training dashboard)
  • Solid understanding of EMR systems
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical staff, senior leadership, and key stakeholders
  • Exceptional presentation skills tailored to clinical audiences
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple Agile projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Forward-thinking, analytical, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing project needs and priorities
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks
  • Ability to translate technical information into plain language for non-technical audiences
  • Solid understanding of how various technologies fit together in a provincial health ecosystem to deliver services
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Experience working in BC Health Authorities is considered a strong asset
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation considered an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
