Job description

About the Role:
We are looking for a Creative Lead with a deep passion for Korean culture, entertainment, and storytelling. This role is ideal for someone who understands the nuances of Korean shows, is quick-witted, and has a sharp creative instinct to identify high-performing content. The Creative Lead will be responsible for selecting the best shows, crafting engaging promo cuts, and running performance marketing campaigns across Google, Facebook, and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Selection & Curation: Identify and analyze top-performing Korean shows that align with our target audience.
  • Promo Creation: Cut and edit engaging promos from selected shows to drive maximum engagement and conversions.
  • Performance Marketing Support: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and optimize video assets for ads across Google, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest trends in Korean entertainment, digital marketing, and social media to ensure our promos remain relevant and effective.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality visuals, storytelling, and messaging consistency across all promo materials.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with translators, editors, and the marketing team to streamline creative workflows.

Key Requirements:
  • Fluent in Korean (written and spoken) to understand content nuances.
  • Strong understanding of Korean culture, entertainment, and storytelling.
  • Highly creative with the ability to identify and extract compelling moments from shows.
  • Experience in video editing or working with editors to craft engaging short-form video content.
  • Basic knowledge of performance marketing (Google, Facebook, TikTok ads) and audience engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly, and think on their feet.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in entertainment, media, or content marketing.
  • Hands-on experience in running digital ads or working with marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.).
