Job description

Position Summary

The Patient Services IT Business Systems Analyst serves as the technology business partner to implement systems and innovative process improvements to promote overall organizational efficiency, effectiveness and cost optimization while partnering with the Patient Services team. The role will be responsible for business requirements, business process definition/documentation, systems consulting, and system support management.

Position will work with all levels of the business including business partners, technology teams, and external vendors. Position will focus on business process documentation, business requirements and identifying and implementing solutions to meet commercial business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders across the Patient Services organization, while delivering and supporting Patient Services Salesforce Platform needs that align with strategic business imperatives.
  • Responsible for business systems consulting, business requirements, project planning, prioritization, and implementation of Salesforce deliverables, including implementations and operations.
  • Participate in commercial launch activities related to Patient Services, ensuring deliveries are on time and within scope.
  • Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs.
  • Document system, functional and business requirements, and objectives for Patient Services initiatives.
  • Partner with Patient Services to understand business needs and identify solutions that align to overall business strategies.
  • Responsible for determining how changing business needs will affect the solutioning approach.
  • Develop process documentation (current and to-be).
  • Perform a variety of complex project management, business analysis, planning and technical tasks.
  • Represent IT as the business analyst and technical SME across the Patient Services business function.
  • Technical SME for all system activities for the Salesforce Patient Services system implementations, enhancements, and integration projects.
  • Responsible for assisting other areas of IT in the delivery of business solutions across the enterprise.
  • Identify and troubleshoot operational issues and system gaps.

  Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, operations, or related disciplines required.
  • 5+ years in a pharmaceutical or related environment required.
  • Experience managing business process mapping efforts (business requirements and documentations).
  • Knowledge of enterprise analysis and business process modeling methods.
  • Experience working with processes enabled by cloud-based platforms.
  • Experience with Patient Services Salesforce platform.
  • Experience with business process development and gap analysis.

 

 Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Requires strong communication skills and must be able to effectively prioritize and plan.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Business Analysis skills – documentation, requirements, and processes (current and to be).
  • Proficient in business systems and integrations including planning, designing, building, implementing, and supporting.
  • SQL knowledge preferred.
  • Salesforce platforms configuration experience, specifically Salesforce Helathcloud
