Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ssr. ACI Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our network infrastructure, particularly focusing on building out a new Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) network fabric. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring our network architecture is scalable, maintainable, and highly available, aligning with our business objectives and service level agreements (SLAs).

Job Responsibilities
As a Ssr. ACI Network Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Designing and Building ACI Network Fabric: Assist in the development of a new ACI network fabric running on Sonic OS, ensuring it meets the organization's needs for scalability and performance.
Configuring Cisco 8K Series Routers: Design, configure, and deploy Cisco 8K Series Routers (8100, 8200, 8600, 8800) to enhance our network capabilities.
Technical Support: Provide Tier III technical support for ACI technologies, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
Automation of Operational Duties: Automate daily operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload, supporting the Data Center Application Centric Infrastructure.
Research and Evaluation: Research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of ACI engineering principles.
Industry Knowledge Development: Develop and maintain advanced functional knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies, concepts, and trends to keep our infrastructure competitive.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of network architecture with business goals and objectives.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

Routing & Switching (R/S): A minimum of 5 years of experience in Routing & Switching is essential. This includes a solid understanding of network protocols and the ability to configure and troubleshoot routing and switching devices.
ACI Configuration: At least 3 years of experience in configuring and managing ACI solutions, including hands-on experience with Nexus switches.
Nexus Switches: Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus switches, which are critical for the ACI environment.
Cisco 8K Series Routers: Experience working with Cisco 8K Series Routers (8100, 8200, 8600, 8800) is required, including the ability to design and implement routing solutions.
Network Routing Protocols: Knowledge of basic network routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, along with a working knowledge of IS-IS for ACI routing.
VLAN and MACsec: Familiarity with VLAN configurations and MACsec (Media Access Control Security) to ensure secure data transmission.
Data Center Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Data Center industry, including products and protocols, to effectively support our infrastructure.
Python Knowledge: Proficiency in Python is preferred for automating tasks and enhancing operational efficiency.
Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
Communication Skills: Advanced verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and documentation.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects efficiently.

Nice-to-Have Skills

SAI Knowledge: Working knowledge of SAI (Switch Abstraction Interface), which defines generic, object-based CRUD APIs for switching silicon configuration and monitoring.
Certifications: CCNP or CCIE Certification is a plus, demonstrating advanced networking knowledge and expertise.
