Reporting to the Senior sourcing Manager, the sourcing manager in Pakistan region will act as key local support to the Senior sourcing manager for Textile and soft accessories in the region. He will work with various internal and external parties developing products from briefing stage through to launch.

Role and Responsibilities:

Contribute to the Global Sourcing plan by developing a framework for key sourcing strategies globally and specific to the region
Fostering relationships with long term partners and expand our supplier contacts across the category to ensure flexibility of supply
Evaluating regional sourcing capacity and optimizing supplier performance in terms of pricing, service, origin and lead time
Ensuring efficient and timely responses while maintaining high standards
Support the company’s strategy for sustainable products and packaging
Working closely with the Quality and Compliance Teams to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance is followed in relevant sales markets
Working with Supply Chain Teams to create contingency plans
Developing and maintaining close and effective partnerships with Reward Development, Quality, Sustainability and Supply Chain Teams ensuring clear communication channels
Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects with assigned sourcing manager
Plan and schedule project milestones using appropriate tools with assigned sourcing manager
Support System input related to price list creation / maintenance and supplier set up .
Track project milestones and deliverables
Work closely with suppliers to ensure products conformed to the safety requirement or awareness on any potential hazards and product safety
Accountable for the successful completion of engineering tasks
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Constantly evaluate and monitor suppliers to ensure production yield and capacity are up to required standard
Extensive regular contact with assigned supply chain, sourcing manager and quality team on project status.
Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals
