We’re looking for a Senior Manager, PR & Communications to lead our external and internal communications practice.

As our Senior communications leader, you will collaborate closely with our C-team and external agencies to build communications strategies that support the overall goals of the business and build awareness and trust. Working cross-functionally, you have a knack for knowing what drives interest across mainstream and emerging media, industry trade, and category influencers to create stories that capture consumer attention. In addition to leading external communications, you’re a culture expert partnering closely with our People team to enhance internal employee communications.

Your day-to-day:
  • Develop a PR strategy that generates high-impact PR campaigns based on trends and audience insights
  • Develop monthly, quarterly and annual communications reports to celebrate your work upward and contextualize results
  • Monitor and track media coverage, and metrics, report on results to key stakeholders in the company
  • Stay informed about industry trends, media developments, and the evolution of our products and brand
  • Manage our external agency partners to deliver high-quality strategic communications including developing and managing all pitch strategies, press releases, and messaging
  • Partner closely with the People team to define internal communications strategy and roadmap, as well as create visibility for Greenlight as a place to work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing and coaching executives for speaking and media events

  • What you’ll bring to the team:
  • 7+ years of experience driving strategic communications for a consumer brand, in internal or an agency environment
  • Expertise in both traditional and emerging media
  • Deep knowledge of both consumer and business media
  • Ability to multi-task and drive results in a high-growth startup environment
  • Ability to turn creative ideas and strategic vision into actionable plans and execution, with a strong focus on ownership, accountability, and results
  • Experience with managing large agency teams
  • Impeccable attention to detail and quality; appreciation for and commitment to your contribution to the overall brand reputation

  • Our stance on salaries:
    Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive.

    The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $120,000-170,000
    The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $120,000-150,000
