Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):  

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will assist with financial planning and budgeting process across business segments and sub-businesses, analyze financial statements and reports and assist with monthly closing process.  

This position reports directly to Director of FP&A. It is critical for the person holding this position to have FP&A experience preferably in manufacturing and/or distribution environment, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to present financial information in a concise and easily comprehensible manner to various audiences.

Main Activities/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports (daily/monthly/quarterly/annually)
  • Assist with the development of financial models to predict, track, and report on business growth and trends, initiatives, and key projects
  • Aggregate and distribute daily sales reports
  • Assist in the preparation of materials used for Board of Directors presentations
  • Assist with KPIs and Dashboards reporting
  • Assist with monthly close processes (accruals, prepaids, variance analysis etc.)
  • Partner with commercial and operational teams to gather and provide business insights and proactively look for improvement opportunities
  • Champion standardization and automation of processes through system and tools enhancement
  • Headcount reporting
  • Capital spending and projects reporting
  • Other duties and Ad hoc as needed

Reporting Relationships and Supervision:

This position does not have any direct reports.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required MBA/CPA/CFA/CMA preferred.
  • Experience working in a global manufacturing business preferred.
  • Proficient in financial system and other databases, strong ability in data mining and analytics
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytic and research skills
  • Exceptional skills in MS Word and PowerPoint are a must. Also requires expert Excel skills, with ability to comfortably use pivot tables, macros, and importing / manipulating data
  • Experience with financial budgeting/forecast leadership, and strong financial analysis skills – including being detail oriented and proficient in building and using complicated data sources
  • Experience with working capital improvement preferred
  • A highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative work ethic

Pursuant to New York law, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare provides a salary range in job advertisements. The salary range for this role is from $125,000.00 to $155,000.00 per year. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s experience, specialization, education, as well as the company’s requirements. The salary range provided does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits which may be offered to the applicant, if eligible according to the company’s policies.
