What you’ll be doing:
Accounting Support: Assist with the monthly and year-end financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of assigned general ledger accounts. Generate and analyze reports to identify trends and research variances. Assist with the preparation of documents for the external financial audit and liaise with auditors as needed.
Billing & Receivables Management Support: Assist in the billing, invoicing and collections processes, ensuring timely and accurate management of accounts receivable. Review aged accounts receivable and assist in identifying and resolving accounts that are past due. Identify and investigate billing issues or customer disputes, working to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner. Work closely with the Senior Receivables Analyst and Receivables Manager on receivables projects, contributing to departmentwide initiatives.
General Support: Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Support department goals by working collaboratively across various teams to meet departmental and companywide targets and objectives. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support special projects as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar concentration, or combination of education and experience
1-3 years of experience in an accounting- or finance-related role
Experience working with mid-sized to large enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct).
Foundational understanding of GAAP, financial regulations and receivables management processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel (i.e., pivot tables, LOOKUP functions, etc.) for reporting and analysis and G-Suite applications (e.g., Google Sheets, Google documents).
Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently $55,000 - $60,000 plus performance bonus up to 8%. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits and equity upon requests. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted up to or over 100% of the offered base salary (no cap).
