What you’ll be doing:

• Maintaining high quality customer service, ensuring that all customers are treated in an appropriate manner.
• Serving as an escalation point for IT Operations Technician’s to resolve difficult IT tickets.
• Training and mentoring IT Service Desk Agent’s and serving as a resource to Service Desk team members.
• Diagnosing and resolving software/hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows) and across a range of software applications (Office365, Adobe, VPN, etc.).
• Assisting with any logged IT related incident when called upon.
• Taking ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary.
• Accurately documenting pertinent information for requests and incidents in ITSM ticketing system.
• Implementing new technical procedures as needed.
• Maintaining company IT assets and inventory, ensuring that assets are updated in accordance with asset management policies and procedures.
• Installing and configuring new IT equipment (workstations, switch/firewall, servers, etc.).
• Working on assigned projects on an ad hoc basis and assisting with other corporate initiatives as necessary.

About you:

• Previous IT experience, preferably within a similar on-site role.
• Experience in delivering the highest level of service to the customer.
• Must be highly motivated, with excellent organisational skills and be able to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative.
• Ability to lone work if required.
