The Accounting and Finance team is essential to our business. Revenue Operations are looking to hire an accountable, experienced, and resourceful Fraud and Payment Analyst Specialist who can multi-task and bring their extensive experience to a constantly evolving department within a fast-growing SaaS company.
As a Fraud and Payment Analyst, you will be responsible for:
· Applying understanding to evaluate, analyze and synthesize daily transactions utilizing 3rd party tools and payment portals. Identifying discrepancies, trends or abnormalities that may be a result of potential systematic issues or product abuse. Reporting to management for further investigation and triage.
· Reviewing daily payment exceptions, subscription modifications, expired cards, invalid request data, processing errors and restricted transactions. Evaluating and escalating further investigation and mitigation.
· Monitoring accepted/rejected decisioned transactions for false positives per departmental procedures and guidelines.
· Creating, maintaining and monitoring fraud strategy by implementing automated rule based decisioning using 3rd party tools and logic.
· Downloading, data entry, and archiving monthly payment processing reports. Articulating any trends and findings by commerce or product specific to management and internal product partners.
· Processing billing and refund requests according to compliance guidelines, within company thresholds, and individual limits.
· Completing internal Business Requests within established SLAs. Providing thorough and timely support to internal teams, which may include but not limited to Customer Care, Provisioning, Order processing and Retention.
· Following a multi-step process to resolve escalations, taking ownership of the process from start to finish to ensure accurate execution of internal queries.
· Demonstrating flexibility and teamwork across Geo’s especially at month/quarter/year end.
· Working with special projects as assigned as directed by Supervisor, Manager, Senior Manager or Director.
As a Fraud and Payment Analyst, this role requires:
· A minimum of 3 years’ industry experience with exposure to SaaS (Subscriptions), payment processing, fraud mitigation and or other tech related background.
· Must possess proven track record of consistently and successfully attaining goals.
· Must possess understanding of revenue recognition standards and understand order to cash process.
· Excellent relationship building and communication skills required.
