We are seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to serve as our Head of Client Account Management for the Personal Loans division. This role is ideal for a proven leader with a deep understanding of account management, revenue growth strategies, and relationship building. You will lead a team of account managers, drive strategic client initiatives, and take full ownership of a portfolio of high-value accounts.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of account managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Provide strategic guidance and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Oversee P&L management and ensure operational excellence across client accounts.
  • Drive collaboration between sales, IT, media, and creative teams to optimize partnership opportunities.

Client Account Ownership & Revenue Growth

  • Own and manage a portfolio of Personal Loans accounts, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies for key accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with key stakeholders, from working teams to executives.
  • Oversee client launches, onboarding, and ongoing account management to ensure seamless execution.
  • Regularly assess client needs and market trends, developing new solutions to drive engagement and retention.

Data Analysis & Strategic Decision-Making

  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize client performance, identifying trends and patterns that impact revenue.
  • Oversee monthly financial closing, reporting, and reconciliation processes to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Design and implement tracking mechanisms and intuitive reports to maintain visibility into partner performance.
  • Ensure a strong understanding of web metrics and profitability drivers, making strategic decisions accordingly.

Contract Negotiations & Business Strategy

  • Lead high-value contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and refine account management strategies for long-term growth.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and FinTech innovations, positioning the company as a market leader.
  • Travel as needed (15-20%) for client meetings and strategic business initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, or Client Strategy, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in managing client relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in Personal Loans or FinTech is highly preferred.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, index match) to analyze large datasets.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

The expected salary range for this position is $115,000 USD to $160,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
