Job Title: Accounting Operations & Process Manager
Location:
Remote (MST Time Zone)
Salary Range:
up to 3000 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (MST)

Position Overview:


The Accounting Operations & Process Manager will play a crucial role in managing and documenting accounting workflows, tracking project progress, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality client services. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and tech-savvy, with experience in accounting practice management software (TaxDome experience is a plus).

Key Responsibilities:

Process & Workflow Management:

  • Quickly learn and document inherited tax and accounting workflows.
  • Standardize procedures by creating SOPs and templates for sales, client onboarding, and internal operations.
  • Oversee bookkeeping, tax return preparation, and accounting workflows to ensure timely completion.


Practice & Task Management:

  • Track tax return progress using TaxDome and internal spreadsheets.
  • Communicate urgent issues, client requests, and workflow bottlenecks with the team.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering client documents through TaxDome.


Billing & Administrative Support:

  • Assist with monthly billing and invoice creation.
  • Manage and track e-signature requests for e-file authorization forms.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience using or the ability to quickly master accounting practice management software (TaxDome experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to track multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to document processes effectively.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, task management tools, and cloud-based systems.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills to support both the team and clients.
