We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, drive the integration of test automation into the CI/CD pipeline, and ensure the overall quality and efficiency of our software delivery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, conducting code reviews, setting coding standards, and ensuring adherence to test automation best practices.
  • Automate web-based applications using Selenium WebDriver and create efficient test scripts.
  • Use TestNG for executing tests and generating detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with development and manual QA teams to identify automation candidates, integrate tests into the testing lifecycle, and resolve defects.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Maven to enable early detection of issues.
  • Continuously optimize automated test scripts to reduce execution time while maintaining or increasing test coverage.
  • Perform testing on RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman and ensure quality and functionality.
  • Oversee test execution, ensuring defects are identified, reported, and resolved promptly.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in test automation, and propose improvements to enhance software quality and delivery efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for automating web-based applications.
  • Experience with TestNG for test execution and reporting.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and automation tools like Maven.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman.Strong experience in software testing, including identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases, and test results.
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes (Scrum).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or other CI/CD pipeline tools.
  • Knowledge of performance testing and optimization techniques.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers.
