Position Summary: 

The Business Development and Marketing Coordinator is dual-role position responsible for driving business growth through supporting strategic marketing and business development teams, while managing administrative execution of sales transactions. Involving a mix of administrative tasks, and direct involvement in sales & marketing activities, this role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills, with a keen understanding of cyber security solutions and sales processes. This position ensures that all sales activities align with business objectives, providing administrative oversight through the sales cycle. 

What you will be doing:

Marketing Co-ordination: 

  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness with existing clients as well as externally. 
  • Write, edit, and manage content for marketing materials including event materials, emails, social media posts, blogs, and website content 
  • Coordinate with designers for the creation of visual content like graphics, videos, and promotional materials. 
  • Organize and participate in industry events, webinars, and trade shows to promote the company and gather market intelligence. 
  • Handle logistics for events, including setups, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up. 

Digital Marketing: 

  • Manage social media accounts, schedule posts, and engage with followers to enhance online presence. 
  • Support marketing efforts by optimizing web content and conducting keyword research. 
  • Assist in setting up and monitoring digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads). 

Sales Management: 

  • Oversee the sales transaction process from ensuring accuracy and adherence to company directives, to approval and processing. 
  • Manage creation and issuing of purchase orders and invoices for sale transactions. 
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of materials related to sales transactions. 
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide support in negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract finalization. 
  • Manage thorough record keeping of transaction documentation, contracts, invoices, and relevant materials for sales transactions. 
  • Analyze current sales transaction processes to identify inefficiencies. 
  • Field client and vendor queries related to invoicing and other administrative items post sales closeout. 
  • Ensure accurate record keeping for renewal dates, invoicing schedules, and other crucial information. 

You have:

  • Training, certifications, and degrees showing continuous learning and a growth mindset. 
  • 1-3 or more years in a marketing, sales operations or business development role, preferably in technology or Cyber Security. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex cyber security concepts in simple terms. 
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM software  
  • Understanding of cyber security concepts, products, and services. 
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 
  • Proactive, with a passion for cyber security and technology. 
  • Creative thinker with problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Capacity to think strategically about how sales enablement can drive business growth and improve sales performance in cyber security. 
  • Collaborative mindset to work with sales, marketing, product, and technical teams for a unified approach to sales enablement. 

 

The salary offered for this position falls within a specified salary range and will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific needs of the organization.
