About the Role:
Scrumconnect Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior .NET & C# Developer to work on a government sector project. The role involves developing and maintaining robust, scalable applications using .NET Core, C#, and Azure Cloud. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring compliance with government digital standards.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Develop and maintain .NET Core & C# applications in a government environment.
✔ Ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance application design.
✔ Work with Azure Cloud, APIs, and Microservices to integrate solutions.
✔ Follow best practices in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
✔ Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following SOLID principles.
✔ Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
✔ Collaborate with stakeholders, government teams, and technical leads.
✔ Provide technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
✔ Travel occasionally to Coventry for on-site collaboration.
Required Skills & Experience:
✔ 5+ years of experience in .NET & C# development.
✔ Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
✔ Strong experience with Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Blob Storage, App Services, Key Vault, etc.).
✔ Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
✔ Good understanding of Microservices, RESTful APIs, and message queues (e.g., Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
✔ Experience in unit testing frameworks (XUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
✔ Knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT authentication, and government security best practices.
✔ Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and DevOps practices.
✔ Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
➕ Previous experience in government sector projects.
➕ Knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
➕ Experience with frontend technologies (React, Angular, Blazor).
Work Environment & Duration:
- Contract Duration: 1 month (3rd March - 31st March 2025).
- Remote Work: Primarily remote with occasional travel to Coventry.
