The Manager, Alumni GTM executes the University’s Alumni strategy, including implementing grass roots initiatives and value proposition delivery processes, managing local alumni chapters, and publishing of alumni stories, to drive activations that increase alumni Net Promoter Score (NPS). The individual executes the marketing requirements in product and Alumni Creative Pod work, developing project plans, overseeing implementation, identifying and solving Alumni issues, serving as liaison among cross-functional stakeholders, monitoring results and refining plans, and optimizing performance of the contact go-to-market plans to meet/exceed KPIs that drive to an improved Alumni NPS.
What You’ll Do
Execute the University's engagement/communication/contact plans for Alumni, including email, direct mail, SMS Text, Phone and other new technologies.
Serve as the subject matter expert regarding alumni engagement, communication and relations. Serve as a representative of the University with respect to alumni engagement and relations, including alumni chapter management and other grass roots initiatives, such as the alumni advocacy program, and the alumni exclusive network and the local chapter Facebook groups. Participate in various Alumni initiatives and activities, such as alumni chapter meetings, the alumni advocacy program and local chapter Facebook groups.
Develop related briefs, and execute approved testing roadmap elements to address alumni needs, leveraging insights from research, data and learnings, in line with the strategic direction of the University.
Monitor results of the testing roadmap and go-to-market plans and report key insights back to functional leadership, along with recommendations for continued optimization and performance improvement of the testing roadmap and go-to-market plans.
Develop strong collaborative relationships with IT, Public Relations, Operations, Legal and Compliance, and teams within Marketing to help ensure successful execution of testing roadmap.

Minimum Education And Related Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field and two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in a Marketing related role; OR any combination of Marketing related education and experience totaling six (6) years
Additional Qualifications
Experience in higher education or other verticals with a considered decision-making purchase journey
Strategic and analytical background with experience designing testing roadmap and orchestrating dynamic A/B tests that yield statistical results
Collaborative nature and experience working in highly matrixed environment
Fluent in agile methodology and processes
Thrives under pressure and in fast-paced and changing environment
Skilled at digesting key insights from data and conceptualizing go-to-market testing ideas and plans from scratch
Proven experience in designing communication strategies spanning a broad lifecycle and a variety of segments
Strong knowledge of marketing technology and personalization enablement
Strong communicator with good public speaking skills to present to senior leadership and other cross-functional groups
Experience collaborating with both internal and external cross-functional teams in the design and execution of go-to-market plans
Experience in developing strong partnerships with internal marketing partners cross-functionally and external agencies, media partners, and other partners that bring value to Alumni.
Proven experience in a progressively responsible capacity leading and/or acting as a resource to department staff as it relates to alumni initiatives, processes, and activities
Ability to demonstrate a high level of conceptual and strategic thinking
Strong attention to detail and project management skills
