Virtual Clinical Director

Monte Nido & Affiliates has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting.
The Virtual Clinical Director is responsible for the overall clinical quality of the program. They are also responsible for providing effective leadership to the clinical staff, has knowledge of the organization, provides marketing support for the facility, and directs all activities within Monte Nido & Affiliates in accordance with standards of State and Federal regulations. Responsible for managing census and labor designated program and/or administrative caseload, including revenue drivers of length of stay, attendance, program completion, admit conversion, outcomes collection/results, staffing efficiency, utilization of staff, and labor alignment.

Responsibilities Include:
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Functions as leader of Clinical and other
Adheres to telehealth etiquette and related rules and regulations via telehealth.
Maintains an effective therapeutic organizational structure and delegates appropriate authority for completion of assigned responsibilities. Evaluates quality of program on an ongoing basis.
Responsible for staffing and scheduling, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and scheduling Maintains an effective and efficient daily staffing pattern within budgetary constraints. Responsible for staying in line with labor model as ADC flexes.
Accountable for length of stay and program completion of administrative caseload and holding ADCs accountable to their administrative caseloads.
Holds team accountable for attendance, ADC, outcomes collection, admit conversion, and utilization.
Runs treatment team meetings with a focus on outcomes, program completion, and progress to Master Treatment Plans.
Provides for staff development (i.e., supervision, educational, ) and ensures focus on retention.
Models therapeutic eating habits with clients by eating provided programmatic meals and snacks aligned with company’s nutrition philosophy to completion throughout shift.
Clinical Directors will also run groups and meals as needed.
When census is below target (under 25), Clinical Director may need to take on a small caseload (2-3 clients) and assist with outreach activities.

Oversee program compliance with Utilization Review Ensure each patient is covered by insurance or self-pay for each day of treatment and communicate coverage status to billing department promptly.

Responsible for holding employees and clients accountable to our virtual etiquette rules.
VIRTUAL EMPLOYEES: We have the same expectations for employees as we do for clients. We ask that you always have camera on and join from a private space free from other noises and distractions (e.g. not in car) when meeting with clients or joining a clinical staff meeting. You will need a reliable video conferencing setup including camera, microphone and stable, high speed Internet connection. You will also need to be prepared for a back-up in the event of technology failures. We also expect that you consider your personal appearance in much the same way you would if you were seeing clients in-person. You will also need to keep your background (behind the camera) clean and professional.

Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Master's Degree in a clinical discipline, Social Work, Nursing, Dietitian, Psychology, or health-related field.
A minimum of 2 years management setting familiarity, with continuous quality improvement, Joint Commission standards skills to relate to all level of management staff
Strongly preferred experience leading a remote team
LIcensed to practice clicnal disipline in the approprate state(s), as applicable.
Knowledge of state licensure requirements as relates to practicing via telehealth.
This is a remote position in which employee must follow telehealth etiquette, have adequate technology knowledge, and use required software (e.g. high-speed Internet, high quality camera and microphone).
Prior experience with EHR preferred
