  • Develop and sustain long-term relationships with senior executives, leveraging personalized engagement strategies to highlight Thomas & Company’s unique value.
  • Own and manage mid-market accounts, driving end-to-end sales processes from initial outreach to contract closure.
  • Design tailored business cases to demonstrate the impact of Thomas & Company’s solutions on prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including the VP of Sales, Employer Solutions leadership, and marketing, to refine sales strategies and optimize deal structuring.
  • Negotiate contract terms while maintaining profitability goals and securing client agreements.
  • Represent Thomas & Company at industry trade shows and networking events as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of sales and marketing initiatives, materials, and client success stories.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–5 years of direct corporate sales experience, preferably in workforce solutions, HR technology, or employment services.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed to build relationships and close deals.
  • Strong knowledge of unemployment cost control, employment verification, and tax credit service solutions.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.

To perform this role successfully, candidates must meet the essential duties and responsibilities outlined above. Reasonable accommodations may be made to support individuals with disabilities.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Strong ability to identify and capitalize on long-term sales opportunities, aligning with business goals.
  • Expertise in understanding complex client challenges and delivering tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • Collaborative mindset, working seamlessly across sales, marketing, product, and leadership teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, navigating client challenges with creative, customized solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive and adaptable approach to sales.
  • Experience presenting to C-level and VP-level executives in HR, Payroll, Tax, and Finance.
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and organizational skills to manage complex deals and long-term client relationships.
