Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Remote

Duration: 7-9 Months

Job Description:

Objectives of this role

Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum Teams based out of multiple geographical locations within the company
Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices.
Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently with the Product Owner to deliver high-quality products and on time.
Work with the Product Owner to prioritise the product backlog.
Must be competent in maintaining all Product Backlogs in Jira and up to date.
Should be competent in communicating rightly to different stakeholders involved in the project.
IBM ACE project experience is a plus.

Your tasks

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team’s progress.
Proficient in Agile Project Management tools eg. Jira and Confluence.
Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
Ensure that the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles.

Required Skills And Qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

Must have handled multiple Scrum teams in cross geographical locations.
Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
SAFe certification and Kanban certification are a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
General conceptual understanding of programming and DB querying.
Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira or Trello or any retrospective tools
