Scada Engineer Junior (México, Remote)

YOUR ROLE

Learn Ignition SCADA system and acquired knowledge in real world developments
Seek for Ignition core certification
Assist in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SCADA systems
Verify and check SCADA application system quality - Perform validation tests before go live
Conduct tests to ensure system performance and reliability
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to meet project objectives
Apply programming knowledge to enhance SCADA system functionality
Contribute to system documentation

YOUR PROFILE

Excellent conversational English (C1, C2)
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
2+ years of experience relevant to the role.
Experience in programming languages such as Python, C or C++
Familiar with SCADA systmes, industrial protocols, and PLC programming - Preferred experience with Ignition (Not mandatory).
Experience with HMI design and development
Knowledge in networking protocols (TCP/IP, OPC, OPC-UA, Modbus,etc)
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong attention detail and ability to work in a team
Willingness to learn new SCADA systems (Ignition) and oil and gas processes.
