Job description

Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, the only provider across all 4 nations, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, while providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our leading research pushes the boundaries of what we know about good end-of-life, and our campaigns fight for a world where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness, they’re likely to die from.

Step into a vibrant and collaborative environment as a key member of our CRM System Team. Together, we drive technical solutions and data management that power Marie Curie’s CRM system. You’ll work alongside dedicated professionals, including the CRM Technical Lead, Business Analysts, and key stakeholders across IT, Fundraising, and Business Intelligence.

As a CARE CRM Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of transforming data into meaningful insights and solutions. From streamlining processes to enhancing data quality, your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our CRM system. This is your chance to be the bridge between technical excellence and business needs, supporting essential projects that make a real difference.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain ETL processes and onboard new data platforms.
  • Resolve technical queries, ensure smooth BAU activities, and provide application expertise.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand and address business requirements effectively.
  • Design, implement, and enhance CRM solutions in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Champion data quality and governance while adhering to best practices and compliance.

Key Criteria:

  • Proficiency in IT systems, ETL processes, and CRM tools.
  • Strong SQL Server Integration and Transact SQL development experience.
  • Expertise in database marketing principles and data analysis.
  • Self-starter with excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Web APIs, and fundraising/non-profit environments (nice to have).
  • AGILE methodology experience and relevant certifications like ITIL 4 or Microsoft Certified Professional (nice to have).

Please see the full job description HERE.

Application & Interview Process

  • As part of your online application, you will be asked for a CV and Cover Letter. Please review both the advert and job description and outline your most relevant skills, experience and knowledge for the role.

Salary: £38,000 – £42,000

Contract: Fixed term (12 months), full-time (35 hours per week)

Based: Home-Based – You can work remotely from anywhere within the UK.

Benefits you’ll LOVE:

  • Flexible working. We’re happy to discuss flexible working at the interview stage.
  • 25 days annual leave (exclusive of Bank Holidays)
  • Marie Curie Group Personal Pension Scheme (we will match your contribution up to 7.5%)
  • Loan schemes for bikes; computers and season tickets
  • Continuous professional development opportunities.
  • Industry-leading training programmes
  • Wellbeing and Employee Assistance Programmes
  • Enhanced bereavement, family friendly and sickness benefits
  • Access to Blue Light Card membership
