WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for an Inline Stores Marketing Senior Manager to join our amazing, dynamic, fast moving team! This role oversees our Inline Marketing Seasonal team, who in partnership with cross functional teams, creates innovative 365 and seasonal marketing plans to drive traffic to our entire Inline Retail fleet of stores across North America. 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will work on strategic framework in partnership with the Inline Marketing director, and lead the team developing integrated marketing plans to support Performance and Sportswear through the lens of programming for Seasonal Brand stories and Sport/Cultural moments (Olympics, All Star Game, Super Bowl, etc). Your days are dynamic and fast changing. You will often have to change course to quickly re-prioritize or respond to a changing business priority, leadership checkpoint, or to solve a problem. In order to work cross functionally with partners, you will sit in a variety of meetings to help guide the team on development of omni-channel marketing plans with robust and up to date information. You will be the first point of contact for the seasonal marketing team, helping develop optimized ways of working, processes, and framework for future seasons. Travel may be required to oversee events and activations. Often times you will be required to create and present strategic plans to key stakeholders, leveraging strong influence skills and clear, concise communication. You must bring a strong understanding of the balance of Brand integrity and business goals.

You will also be accountable for your team’s development, creating an environment that obsesses positive team culture, sets team goals in alignment with the oveall marketing priorities, promotes growth and recognizes team and individual contributions.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

If this is you, you’ll be working with Brand Marketing teams, Real Estate, Retail Brand, Visual Merchandising & Styling, Comms, Consumer Fields of Play teams, Integrated Media, Legal, Digital Brand, Lifecycle Comms, Catalyst Marketing, Sports Marketing, City teams, agencies.

You will be reporting into the Director of Inline Marketing within the Retail Marketing function and will have a mentor to help onboard you to the team.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business or Marketing or or combination of relevant education, experience and training

  • 5+ years experience in business and/or marketing at a large, matrixed company and understanding of Retail/ Retail Stores role within a Brand's ecosystem

  • Expertise and proven creativity in omni-channel marketing, membership and services, marketing prowess and how all channels can intersect to create an amazing and compelling marketing plan to drive brand affinity, create awareness, and drive traffic to our stores

  • Experience managing a mid-size to large size team, focusing on goals, growth, development, and consistent feedback through performance management

  • A curiosity for industry trends and consumer behavior with an emphasis on retail, events /activation planning & execution and be constantly seeking new approaches to invite and engage consumers

  • Strong influence skills pushes boundaries, embraces change, failing forward

  • Inspires teams with vision, instilling shared sense of purpose and direction

  • Champions cross-functional collaboration, constantly breaking down silos to facilitate idea-sharing and problem solving

  • Budgetary management and accountability- on time and within allocated dollars per project.

  • Experience working for a Sports team, Sporting Event Marketing & Management is a plus.
