Job Summary:
The Ad Council’s Creators for Good team is seeking a Senior Director, Influencer Marketing (Contract Employee) (known at Ad Council as Senior Director, Creators for Good) for 6-month maternity leave coverage. Creators for Good is a core part of the overall Marketing & Communications team and the premier partner for mobilizing influential trusted messengers in support of the country’s most pressing issues. The Creators for Good team identifies and partners with a broad spectrum of trusted messengers including: celebrities, social influencers, subject matter experts, podcasters, businesses, athletes, musicians and more. The incorporation of trusted messengers is a crucial element and deeply integrated within our purpose-driven campaigns. Creators for Good partners with talent in several aspects of our marketing channel mix including: social media, advertising, events, and media partnerships.
This role would temporarily co-lead the Ad Council’s in-house influencer marketing team with another senior director, including 3-4 direct reports and dedicated client accounts for mental and public health focused campaigns. This role will report into the SVP of Marketing and Communications.
The focus of this role will be leading an internal influencer marketing/talent management team, navigating internal and external teams and relationships with a “can do” attitude. This role will support overseeing key talent content productions, media partnerships and activity across 5-7 social impact campaigns targeting different audience groups and supporting various partner organizations. The role will include overseeing day-to-day campaign and project management work with a varying degree of, task and people management, strategy development, copywriting, content review and approvals, paid media amplification, event coordination, social measurement and cross-channel analytics.
In addition to overseeing campaign work with a team of direct reports, this role will be tasked with monitoring the team’s quarterly service fees, connecting with cross-functional leads to ensure operations between Creators for Good and other departments are working successfully and efficiently.
This is a contract employee role. This means that, while the position is at all times one of “at will employment”, the Ad Council anticipates at present that the employment length would be approximately 6 months. Depending on experience, the compensation for this position is within the range of $10,000 – $11,000 monthly, paid semi-monthly. Contract employees will be eligible to participate in limited benefits and paid time off. We are also open to this role being a fully remote position.
