Corelight is seeking a highly-motivated, inherently curious individual to join our team as a Pre-Sales Security Engineer for our Federal Team. In this role you will be promoting security, developing presentations, account plans, and responding to RFI/RFPs. You will use your technical aptitude and business acumen to develop solutions that address customer problems while establishing trust. An ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about security, thrives when they solve customer problems, listens well, and has start-up DNA.
The Field Marketing Manager, SLED will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and programs designed to increase brand awareness, drive lead generation, and accelerate pipeline growth within the State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) vertical. Reporting to the Head of Public Sector Marketing, this fully remote role requires a strong blend of strategic planning, account-based marketing (ABM) expertise, and integrated campaign execution. Ideal candidates will have deep experience in SLED along with experience in B2B marketing in the technology or cybersecurity sectors. Travel across North America is required to support in-person events and engagements.
Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy for the SLED vertical, aligning with corporate objectives and regional sales goals. Conduct market research to understand key challenges, trends, and opportunities within the SLED space.
Campaign Execution: Plan, develop, and execute regional marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, email campaigns, webinars, events, and account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives focused on the SLED audience. Manage event strategy, including state-level trade shows, user groups, webinars, and other regional marketing events. Coordinate with content and product marketing teams to develop and localize messaging, case studies, and white papers relevant to the SLED market.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with sales, product marketing, and partner marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and drive alignment on lead generation and pipeline acceleration.
Analytics and Reporting: Provide regular reporting on marketing activities, campaign results, and pipeline contribution to stakeholders.
Budget Management: Manage regional marketing budgets, ensuring the effective allocation and prioritization of resources to maximize marketing impact and ROI.
