The Role

As a Product Manager focused on nonprofit fundraising strategy at Bloomerang, you will have an opportunity to strengthen our Giving Platform to empower nonprofits to plan, execute and analyze their fundraising strategies . We’re looking for a Product Manager who has led the definition and launch of new features. You should have experience gathering requirements and be able to succinctly document specific customer problems worth solving. You will be leading an exciting expansion of our product portfolio and must be comfortable learning from and presenting to colleagues across the organization - engineering, design, sales, customer success, support, and executive leadership. 

 

What You Will Do

  • Lead the Product Roadmap: You will be responsible for defining and maintaining a 12-month product roadmap that aligns with our strategy goals and serves the needs of the nonprofit industry.
  • Understand our Users: You will lead research with customers, prospects, partners and other external stakeholders to identify and prioritize the features and functionality that will have the greatest impact. 
  • Become a Fundraising Expert: You will become a subject matter expert who deeply understands the best practices, challenges and trends in the nonprofit industry. 
  • Make Data-Driven Decisions: Thoroughly analyze internal and external data to identify product opportunities, inform product strategy and measure the success of product releases. 
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with peers in design, engineering and product marketing throughout the product lifecycle from ideation to launch. 
  • Define and Document Product Requirements: Create clear and detailed product briefs, functional requirements documents, and other documentation related to features on your roadmap. 
  • Measure for Success: You will be responsible for determining the goals/metrics that will be used to determine the success of a release, and continually monitoring and adjusting functionality or your roadmap to meet the defined goals.
  • Lead with Influence: Communicate trade-off decisions to internal stakeholders and ensure cross-team alignment. . 
  • Deliver Results: You will be responsible for shipping features on-time and that result in positive outcomes.

 

What You Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years of Product Manager experience (separate from Product Owner experience)
  • Effective written and verbal communication; including to executive stakeholders 
  • Experience interviewing and interacting with customers and prospects 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience with agile and scrum methodologies and practices

 

Nice to Haves But Not Required

  • Nonprofit experience 
  • Marketing campaign experience/knowledge

Compensation

The salary range for this position is: $86,500 - $130,000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.

 

Location

This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
