Job description

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Instructional Designer/Developer with expertise in developing courses related to the construction industry, specifically focusing on the "lifecycle of a bid". The ideal candidate should possess working knowledge of estimating and familiarity with programs like Quik Bid or On Screen Takeoff. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely and requires collaboration with our team to bring complex ideas to life through highly engaging eLearning content.

Responsibilities
Course Development on Bid Lifecycle

Design and develop comprehensive eLearning materials that outline the lifecycle of a bid using industry-standard processes and technologies.

Utilize programs like Quik Bid and On Screen Takeoff to integrate practical examples into the learning modules.

Ensure content accessibility and adaptability to meet diverse learner needs and preferences.

Collaboration and Communication

Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and align courses with project objectives and learner needs.

Facilitate clear and effective communication with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and relevance in course materials.

Conduct regular updates and provide progress reports to ensure course development aligns with organizational goals.

Instructional Design Strategy

Apply instructional design best practices to create interactive and engaging learning experiences.

Develop scenario-based learning techniques that facilitate practical understanding of the bid lifecycle.

Continuously improve and update course content to include the latest industry trends and data.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, specifically in the construction industry or related fields.
  • Proficiency in eLearning development tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform complex construction concepts into clear, engaging digital content.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in course design and development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
