About the Role:

Reporting to the CEO, the ERP & Business Systems Manager will play a strategic role in advancing internal business systems. This role focuses on optimizing ERP, EDI, and data-driven applications to support growth while integrating AI, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance operations.
This is a remote role with occasional travel required to the company’s Waco, TX manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• ERP, EDI & Business Systems Leadership
  • ​​​​​​​Manage and optimize the ERP system (CTEC or similar) and Boomi EDI platform to improve efficiency across supply chain, finance, and manufacturing.
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making through SQL-based reporting and business intelligence (Metabase).
• Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation:
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with business growth and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Identify and implement AI-driven automation to improve productivity and streamline processes.
• Business Process Optimization & System Integration:​​​​​​​
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess inefficiencies and deploy tech-driven process improvements
  • Integrate business systems across supply chain, finance, and eCommerce to enhance operational efficiency.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance:
  • ​​​​​​​Ensure compliance with data security regulations and best practices for risk management and system protection.
  • Work with external IT vendors to maintain secure, cost-effective, and scalable IT solutions.

• Factory & Operations Support:
  • Provide technical support for the Waco, TX manufacturing facility and impleent ERP-driven solutions to optimize factory operations.

• 5+ years of experience in ERP, EDI, or business systems management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong ERP & EDI expertise in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment.
• Hands-on experience with Boomi (EDI), SQL-based reporting (Metabase), and process optimization.
• Ability to evaluate and implement AI-driven business improvements. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technology into business value.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, payment processing, etc.) and cloud computing (Google Cloud preferred).
