Job description
This is a remote position.
· Utilize SAP software to record, process, and maintain accounting transactions.
- Process both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
· Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
· Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data entry in SAP, reconciling accounts as necessary.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
· Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
· Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
· Generate ad-hoc reports using Excel spreadsheets to analyze financial data.
· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
· Participate in audits and assist with audit preparation.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably using SAP software.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP for recording and maintaining financial transactions.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Advanced Excel skills for generating reports and financial analysis.
Analytical & Compliance Knowledge:
- Ability to reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial data entry.
- Understanding of budget preparation and financial monitoring.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Experience assisting in audits and compliance activities.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
