About the Role

As a Property Inspection Analyst, you’ll play a key role in evaluating commercial property inspections to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines. Your expertise will help assess risk, identify potential hazards, and provide valuable insights to agency partners and underwriters.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Inspection Reports: Review commercial property inspection reports, including photographs, documents, and relevant data, to assess condition, risk factors, and compliance with underwriting guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with underwriters, managers, and team members to clarify inspection findings and assist with complex cases.
  • Communicate Effectively: Address inquiries from agency partners, inspectors, and insureds by providing accurate inspection information and resolving issues.
  • Identify Risk & Recommend Actions: Evaluate property risk exposures, identify hazards or deficiencies, and provide recommendations to underwriters and agency partners.
  • Enhance Processes: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting enhancements to inspection procedures and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Document Findings: Prepare detailed reports summarizing inspection reviews, including recommendations for corrective actions or improvements.

What We’re Looking For: Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some undergraduate education preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field (e.g., insurance, property inspection, or construction) is desirable.
  • Experience in construction or property inspections is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to interpret inspection reports, identify risks, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Basic proficiency in mathematical calculations (e.g., rate, ratio, percentages).

Certifications:

  • Insurance Adjuster License or State of Florida Certified Contractor License (CCC, CRC, CBC, or CGC) preferred but not required.
