What makes you a great fit

• 5+ years of experience in software development, focusing on data engineering & big data processing.
•  Strong understanding of distributed systems and data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka).
• Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and cloud computing platforms.
• Familiarity with ML/AI infrastructure and MLOps principles.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-based data solutions.
• Solid programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Hadoop, Trino, Hive, or other big data tools.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Hands-on experience in deploying ML models and maintaining ML pipelines.
• Contributions to open-source data engineering projects.

Your day-to-day in this position

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable big data pipelines (batch & streaming).
• Optimize existing pipelines for performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to define and implement data solutions.
• Contribute to the development of our ML/AI platforms and MLOps infrastructure.
• Stay up to date with emerging big data and ML technologies to enhance our systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in data engineering.
