What makes you a great fit

5+ Years of Relevant Experience with Ruby on Rails: Proficiency in backend development, with expertise in Rails frameworks.
Strong understanding of relational database technologies and optimization.
Experience in integrating and working with third-party APIs.
Familiarity with modern testing tools and practices to ensure code quality.
A passion for creating products that address user needs effectively.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Upper-intermediate English level

Big advantage:

Infrastructure Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and other DevOps tools.
Frontend Experience: A working knowledge of frontend frameworks and technologies is a plus.

Your day-to-day in this position

As a Sr. Backend Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the backbone of our systems and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

Collaborate with product managers and the team to implement features based on customer feedback and requirements.
Analyze, debug, and resolve performance and system reliability problems.
Craft scalable and maintainable architectures that align with best practices and long-term goals.
Manage hosting environments and tools like New Relic, and Kubernetes, and ensure uptime and performance stability.
