Job Summary

  • To understand the customer’s business and technical requirements and project the technical advantages of the Cognyte’s products and solution offers, with the intention of securing business for Cognyte for Data Analytics solutions.
  • To generate new application use cases and solution concepts basis understanding of product capabilities, customer operations and pain areas in multiple verticals.

 

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate would form part of the Presales team and will work closely with the Sales team and assisting in meeting revenue targets. The candidate will also work with the Product House and become an expert on the specific solutions and offerings. Typical responsibilities include:
  • Prepare and hold Product and Solution presentations and workshops on all different levels of customer and management.
  • Development and demonstration of prototypes/demo scenarios to prospects.
  • Delivers high quality, technical expertise in the pre-sales process to help close sales opportunities with the customers.
  • Periodic updates to existing customers on new products and solutions.
  • Interact with Product Development group for customized proposals.
  • Contributing to continuous product development and organizational competitiveness by providing feedback on market requirements.
  • Research and track market trends, technologies, competitive movements, etc.
  • Prepare the technical proposal to Requests for Information (RFI) / Requests for Proposal (RFP) / Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for customers/ Table of Requirement(TOR).
  • Understand complete requirements of customer environment and work with System Architects on elements in the proposals.
  • Assist sales team in prospecting with relevant pitch and market/company specific data.
  • Generate Collaterals, Case Studies, White Papers, etc and assist Sales in pitch Cognyte solutions.
  • Provide inputs to Product Management team on new product requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in the hi-tech industry, of which at least 3-5 years should have been in a technical presales or technical consulting role
  • Domain Knowledge in the area of: Data Analytics, AI, ML, Telecom(3G/4G/5G), SIGNIT, COMINT, OSINT.
  • The position calls for extensive travelling within the APAC region. Candidates should be willing to travel at short notice and should have an innate desire to work in a competitive environment
  • Fluent English speaker- Reading & writing- a must.
  • Proven ability to handle deadlines and manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and time frames. Works independently with limited supervision
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in working with global customers
  • Willingness to travel abroad – around 40%

 

 Functional Skillset (Desirable):-

  • Telecom/ Data Analytics – Analytics and Visualization Applications.
  • Information Security, designing of Network Security solutions, Cyber Forensics
  • Hands-on experience in demonstration and presentation of software applications.
  • Being able to work on senior level with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Intercultural experience: cultural sensitivity and experience on a global level.
  • Basic understanding of System Architecture and Networking applications.
  • Additional language relevant in the APAC region
