  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders to gather insights on how data is currently used and identify pain points

  • Communicate complex data concepts in an accessible way to facilitate buy-in and collaboration

Process Improvement

  • Create frameworks to track and measure data accuracy, usability, and accessibility across the company

  • Implement processes to ensure that data needs are incorporated early in the product development lifecycle

  • Recommend and implement tools or platforms to streamline data discovery, sharing, and usage

Education & Advocacy

  • Foster a data-driven culture by educating teams about the importance of proper data practices

  • Advocate for the strategic use of data to solve cross-departmental challenges and unlock new opportunities

  • Lead training sessions or develop resources to help teams self-serve their data needs effectively

Key Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in data strategy, data management, or a related field (e.g., Data Engineering, BI, Analytics)

  • Skills: Strong understanding of data governance, data architecture, and analytics workflows

  • Communication: Ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Problem-Solving: Proven track record of breaking down silos and implementing cross-functional solutions in complex organizations

  • Tools: Proficiency with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), ETL tools, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics). Advanced degree preferred but not required
