We are seeking an Associate Director of Business Intelligence to lead and enhance our HEDIS reporting program, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role is essential for driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing healthcare performance outcomes through advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions.

The Associate Director of Business Intelligence will be responsible for solving complex business problems by leveraging internal and external data, developing actionable insights, and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and an in-depth understanding of reporting, and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & Reporting

  • Manage the intake of new reporting requests, ensuring alignment with business priorities and data governance standards.
  • Maintain the reporting schedule, ensuring timely delivery of recurring reports and dashboards to key stakeholders
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards to monitor performance metrics and trends.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across reports and analytics tools.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze HEDIS data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex healthcare challenges through data-driven approaches.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance efficiency, compliance, and healthcare outcomes.

HEDIS Expertise & Development

  • Develop deep expertise in HEDIS measures, reporting processes, and performance metrics.
  • Understand data sources and their connection to HEDIS performance outcomes.
  • Educate stakeholders on HEDIS data, processes, and best practices to foster a data-driven culture.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years of technical experience in data analysis and intelligence
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or compliance.
  • Passion for driving continuous improvement and enhancing consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree in a management field.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and manage multiple large-scale initiatives simultaneously.
  • Broad understanding of healthcare business operations and strategic alignment with key stakeholders.

Additional Information

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

  • Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$129,300 - $177,800 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
