Job description

At Nike, our Loss Prevention team provides a competitive advantage by delivering on the LP mission of Protecting People, Profit, and Brand.  As the Territory Loss Prevention Manager, you’ll play a significant role in supporting that vision.  The nature of this work is focused on providing leadership to managers and applying business and management expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives.

As the District Loss Prevention Manager, you will implement Loss Prevention programs and accountabilities in assigned stores.

  • Contribute to the development of the Territory’s strategy and vision and organize resources to ensure customer satisfaction, productivity, profitability, growth and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Execute Territory and Geography strategy within assigned District.
  • Make decisions guided by policies in non-standard situations
  • Implement and/or drive controls and programs that protect the brand, limit disruptions, reduce shrinkage and other risks that inhibit profitability.
  • Conduct high level internal and external theft investigations, collect and preserve evidence, and prepare detailed written reports.

  • Has deep understanding of retail Loss Prevention strategies and techniques
  • Skilled in complex investigations and interviewing
  • Proficient at managing strategic projects as assigned, related to Loss Prevention, shrink reduction, operational efficiency, and process improvements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to drive results across multi-layered organizations
  • Experienced in leading and influencing across teams/organizations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills that maximize partnership with various stakeholders
  • Key partners include: Retail District Director, Employee Relations, Human Resources, District Operations Captain, Brand, Global Security, Risk Management, Legal
