Responsibilities:Position Overview
This position is remote/part-time (30-35 hours per week) based in the Central Timezone. Both morning/day shifts and afertnoon/evening shifts available.
Call Center Representatives work in the Research Department and support Youth Villages by gathering crucial information from the youth, families, and caseworkers that we serve. Call Center Representatives are asked to complete questionnaires at various points in time (during treatment, upon discharge, and up to two years after services have finished) covering a variety of topics including customer satisfaction and effectiveness of services.
A Telephone Interviewer needs to be able to juggle multiple, competing priorities. Flexibility and willingness to learn new systems and technology is a key component. Attention to detail is extremely important as there are multiple steps to the process, which can include both written and verbal communication ranging from locating valid contact information, completing the phone interview, making decisions about the cases, and coding of the data collected.
Qualifications:Requirements
High School Diploma Required
Minimum of 6 months phone-based customer service experience is required.
Previous Call Center experience preferred
Must have good telephone demeanor, be detail oriented, able to multitask, excellent time management skills, have the ability to sit for long periods of time conducting interviews by phone, and have excellent verbal and critical thinking skills.
Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, and Word) required. Advanced skills in Excel preferred.
Experience using an electronic medical records database and working in a call center is helpful.
