The Account Manager - Advertising Sales will play a pivotal role in driving our revenue growth by driving sales for our B2B advertising/sponsorship products and managing the accounts of our existing customers.

You’ll be the kind of person who thrives in a sales environment,  loves connecting with clients and team mates, and is excited to drive revenue forward through developing impactful sales campaigns.

You are someone that is not afraid to pick up the phone, think on their feet or take on a new challenge to drive revenue forward..

✨ Manage inbound sales and consultative selling for advertising and sponsorship opportunities
📈 Plan and execute outbound B2B sales and marketing campaigns to generate new customers
🤝 Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent account management
📊 Track and achieve key performance indicators like advertising revenue, number of calls and email engagement rates
🌟 Collaborate with our advertisers on fulfillment of their marketing creatives and objectives

This full-time role requires flexibility to accommodate USA time zones, especially Pacific Time, for client calls and meetings which may require later appointments at times.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you need to have: 

✅ Proven experience in sales leadership and consultative selling, ideally in a B2B environment
✅ Strong track record in managing and achieving KPIs, including sales revenue
✅ Expertise in B2B marketing campaigns and cold outreach
✅ High-level account management skills focused on client satisfaction
✅ Good understanding of the fundamentals of sales and marketing and the psychological triggers that make people buy.
✅ Familiarity with CRM tools and digital marketing platforms
✅ Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Brownie points for:

⭐ Copywriting skills for email outreach, writing pitches  and marketing content

⭐ Knowledge of cold outreach scripts and CRO techniques.

⭐ Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Active Campaign or Ad Sales Genius

⭐ Linkedin use for B2B outreach, network building and PPC

⭐ Sales funnel understanding from a B2C perspective (our customers)

⭐ Cold outreach and calling experience

⭐ Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and PPC campaigns

⭐ Publishing and media experience
