Salary Range:
up to 2500 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:


We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and backend data architecture. This role focuses on data integration, transformation, and warehouse modernization, ensuring seamless data flow between enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake, APIs, and data engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Integration & Engineering:

  • Develop and manage APIs and ETL/ELT pipelines to consolidate data from multiple sources into Snowflake.
  • Ensure data reliability, integrity, and scalability for large-scale datasets.


Backend Data Architecture:

  • Design and maintain robust backend data systems, focusing on performance, security, and governance.
  • Optimize storage solutions and query performance in Snowflake and other cloud-native environments.


Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with internal teams to define data requirements and align systems with business needs.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through scalable infrastructure.


Data Warehouse Modernization:

  • Lead efforts to optimize legacy data warehouses, improving data flow and processing.
  • Implement cloud-based best practices for enhanced performance and scalability.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing roles.
  • Advanced SQL development and performance tuning skills.
  • Proven experience building and managing APIs for data exchange.
  • Strong understanding of Big Data technologies and cloud-based data architecture.
  • Expertise in Snowflake (schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning).
  • Familiarity with data orchestration, automation tools, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Python or other programming languages for data processing.
