Hi, this is Mateo from CI&T! I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for people located in Colombia for a Junior IT Analyst (Data) to work in a Project in the technology sector.

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior IT Analyst with a strong understanding of data mapping and governance to join our team for a mid-term project. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical writing skills, be self-motivated, and possess advanced or fluent English proficiency. This role involves documenting each part of the data process, providing training and support, and working closely with the Product Manager and Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure Microsoft Purview in accordance with company policies and best practices

• Collaborate with IT and data management teams to integrate Microsoft Purview with existing data sources, systems, and workflows

• Implement data classification, discovery, and lineage capabilities within Microsoft Purview

• Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of installation processes, configurations, and governance policies

• Provide training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on best practices for data management and compliance

• Monitor the performance of Microsoft Purview and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements for this challenge:

• Strong understanding of data mapping and governance

• Advanced English proficiency

• Mid-level proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
