As a Key Account Manager at Promethean Germany, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining  strong relationships with our key partners, making a tangible contribution to the success of our clients and the strength of our brand. Your entrepreneurial mindset, vision, and collaboration will ensure success.

Responsibilities:
  • Development and Partner Management: Take ownership of the key account business by building relationships with IT system integrators and acquiring new strategic partners.
  • Building Long-Term Relationships: Maintain close contact with key clients such as DATPORT, DVZ, ITDZ Berlin, ProVitako, KoPart, and LDI to foster trust and mutual success.
  • Hybrid Partner Strategy:
  • Drive the growth and development of partnerships with IT system integrators in Public, Enterprise, and Education sectors.
  • Collaborate directly with higher education institutions, including training centers and universities, to explore and establish new opportunities. Maintain connections with stakeholders of the aforementioned clients.
  • Driving Revenue Growth: Leverage your experience and expertise to achieve revenue targets and implement innovative acquisition strategies.
  • Innovative Sales Strategies: Help develop and implement customized account plans that unlock market potential and establish Promethean as the partner of choice.
  • Market Knowledge and Leadership: Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities to strengthen Promethean’s presence and reputation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams in the regions, marketing, product management, and technical support to provide exceptional value to partners and customers.
  • Operational Excellence: Conduct annual meetings with key accounts, prepare detailed forecasts and reports, and regularly align with internal teams on progress and strategies.

  • Requirements:
  • 5-7+ years of selling experience in either the education or technology markets
  • 3+ years of experience managing key accounts preferred
  • Proven Expertise: A strong track record of success in Key Account Management, ideally with a focus on IT system integrators or the education sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the IT and technology industry, particularly in system integration, public sector, and higher education.
  • Networking Skills: Existing relationships with key partners and clients a plus
  • Visionary Thinker: Ability to develop and implement forward-looking strategies that deliver results.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional ability to build relationships, negotiate, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Core Competencies: Experience with revenue planning, CRM systems, excellent presentation skills, and top-notch stakeholder management in complex organizations.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Travel-Ready: Willingness and motivation to travel regularly within Germany.
