Our Corporate office is looking for a Workday Team Manager to work closely with the Core Enterprise Product Owner, Workday Functional Leads, Workday Reporting/Dashboard Lead, Workday Administrator and business partners to lead and guide the responsibilities of each area, ensure alignment/partnership with other business verticals, and provide strategic planning for Workday at WEG.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $126,000- $146,000, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions
Drive Product Delivery and Management
Overall ownership for the ongoing design, deployment, and maintenance of the Workday HCM and/or Finance system
Design and develop roadmaps for Workday at WEG in partnership with Core Enterprise Product Owner
Partner with cross-functional Product Owners to engage in Operating Models discussions and propose Workday-oriented solutions
Stay current and informed on Workday Releases to provide strategic direction to Workday Functional Leads and Workday Administrator
Lead Change Control Board across businesses and IT to ensure alignment / awareness of all Production tenant changes
Serve as a strong consultative partner to business and functional leaders to continuously improve service delivery
Joint accountability with Workday Administrator for data governance, security and compliance
Partner with Product Owner to create and present executive-level reporting on Workday initiatives
Lead and Coach Workday Team
Lead team ensuring day-to-day systems support is balanced with strategic enhancements and projects
Develop and promote continuous learning within the Workday team
Build and develop offsite employees
Support Special Projects as needed
Lead continuation of Workday ticketing system development / aligned support model
Partner with Workday Business Analyst / Project Manager to ensure up-to-date documentation of system functions, processes and capabilities
Education/Qualifications
Experience working on Agile initiatives as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business units.
Strong Agile and traditional project skills; ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills, and communication skills.
Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status, and results clearly and effectively.
Agility – You’ll remain agile in your decision making, planning, and delivery; using curiosity and creativity to see situations from all perspectives.
Ability to travel 0-5%.
WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. Thus, the entire salary range for those who are classified as the Manager level is $97,500 to $156,000.
