Job description

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Master Data Integration Project Lead to drive integration projects and management of master data across Avantor’s global operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth data management, system synchronization, and compliance with organizational standards. This position is project based and currently limited to 18 months.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in data integration, project management, or a similar role
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale master data integration projects in complex, global environments
  • Strong knowledge of master data management, data governance, and integration processes
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) and integration tools
  • PMP, PMI, or other project management certifications are preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing cross-functional relationships and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering results
  • Professional English skills (written and spoken)

How you will thrive and create an impact:

  • Develop, lead and manage master data integration projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely and successful delivery (maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans)
  • Ensure that data governance principles and best practices are adhered to during data integration processes
  • Work on the continuous improvement of master data quality, consistency, and accessibility across systems
  • Collaborate with various internal teams (business, IT, operations, etc.) to identify integration needs and design data management strategies, ensuring that all parties are aligned at all times
  • Generating of ad hoc and "outside the box" solutions to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Monitor and report on project progress, performance, and key metrics
