Documentation and Localization Specialist (m/f/d)- Home office possible

  

You will be part of our effort to create the next generation of information and workflow solutions for our Diagnostic Imaging portfolio. 
 

Your new role: 

  • Creation of various forms of user documentation in both, German and English, for Dedalus Healthcare products in close collaboration with professionals (developers, testers, product managers, architects...)
  • Coordination of the translation of GUI texts, release notes, and user documentation (deliverables) from German and English into various languages
  • Quality assurance or proofreading of deliverables in German, English, and in other languages if the respective language skills are available
  • Documentation and localization project management following product release cycles
  • Managing terminology

Your skills: 

  • You are able to continuously learn new technologies, including the ability to communicate technological principles and information to the target audience
  • German as a native language or excellent German skills through experience (some documentation will be written in German as a source, therefore German skills of at least C2 level are essential)
  • Very good English skills
  • Knowledge of Portuguese (BR) or Spanish is an advantage
  • Degree in translation, journalism, technical communication or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
  • Previous experience in technical writing and localization, preferably in the software (healthcare) industry
  • Experience with XML-based documentation tools
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • An open and solution-oriented mind
  • Ability to work highly organized and independently
  • Willingness to work with AI and automation tools

  • RWS Trados, Multiterm and Passolo, XTM Rigi
  • XML based content management system
  • DITA standard

For Austria only: The minimum salary for this position is € 42.224 gross per year (38.5 working hours) according to the IT-collective agreement in Austria, an overpayment plus bonus arrangement depending on qualification/experience is self-evident for us.
