Job description

We are seeking a Remote Structural Engineer to provide expert structural design and analysis for various projects. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity and safety of structures while contributing to innovative design solutions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in structural engineering and a strong understanding of current design standards. You will be working 50 hours/week during US business hours and receive weekly payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structural design and analysis for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop innovative design solutions that meet client needs.
  • Prepare detailed design calculations and specifications for structural components.
  • Review and provide feedback on project drawings and documents to ensure structural integrity.
  • Utilize software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000) for modeling and analysis of structures.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on design.
  • Strong understanding of US building codes, regulations, and best practices in structural design.
  • Proficient in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
